A question that I have gotten about my house is what time period was my house from? The "Arts and Crafts Movement" began in the 1890's in England. Basically, when a city needs more homes for people, they turn to building multiple homes that look the same, like this one, to build more of them in a short amount of time. If you would like a house with Arts and Crafts Style architecture, then I suggest you looking for a house with: an open floor plan; natural materials, such as stone, brick and wood; and airy, light-filled rooms that encourage interaction with the outdoors. When we presented these in class, my house looked a lot like my friend Cayden Benson . Our houses almost look like the same house but he used a lot more detail than I did. He used the same "L" shape as I did and has a peaked roof as well.
